I have been reading books of all kinds since I was a child and always dreamed of creating my own stories. After working as a commercial litigation attorney for many years, I quit law and started writing my own tales. Once my stories won multiple contests and reached the finals for RWA's Golden Heart Award twice, I realized I might be onto something. I am fascinated by legends, mythology, and history, particularly medieval. Recently, I fled Ohio's cold, wet winters to live in the Lowcountry, where Spanish-moss-draped oaks conjure evocative thoughts. I love animals and have two horses (this is Sky!) and a very needy dog. If I'm not writing, you can find me horseback riding, cooking, kayaking, or, of course, reading.
